■How to Mount Special Bushing
Align the shank-fastening screw hole with setting mark,
insert the special bushing as far as it will go, then secure the shank-fastening screw.
 
■Replacement of Inner Spring
  1. Remove the steel ball cap screws retaining the steel balls, and then remove the washers and steel balls inside the main unit. (2 locations)
  2. Remove the tool holding portion from the main unit, replace the spring, apply a thin coating of grease on sliding portion (tool holding portion), and then return it to the main unit.
    When returning the tool holding portion to the main unit, check that there is no dirt, etc.
    adhering to the tool holding portion or within the boat-shaped groove.
    Also check for dirt, etc. within the tool main unit.
    When returning it, align the boat-shaped groove of the tool holding portion with the hole in the cap screw retaining the steel ball, which is on the main unit of the floating holder.
    *Recommended grease :Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease(NLGI #2)
  3. Insert steel balls and washers then and firmly secure the cap screw for retaining the steel balls. Use only XEBEC-specified cap screws for steel balls, as well as Xebec-specified washers and steel balls.
  4. After replacing the springs, press the bottom of  the tool holding portion with your fingers, and check to see that tool holding portion slides 6 mm.
    ※ Use springs specified by XEBEC (refer to “inside spring specification”) or it may result in malfunction or breakage of the tool.
