| [Pre-Operation inspection] |
- Conduct a test run for more at least one minute before starting
operation, and at least three minutes after changing the brush.
Check for abnormalities such as vibrations of the sleeve, looseness
of the brush axis joint, or looseness of the adjusting screw that
controls the protrusion of the Fine Alumina Fiber rods.
- Even if there are no abnormalities during the test run, if you
notice anything unusual such as vibrations during usage, please
stop the operation immediately. Breakage, deformation, or damage
to the brush may be hazardous.
|
| [Maximum
RPM] |
- Please use within the range of maximum recommended revolutions
(ø100: under 1,200RPM, ø60: under 2,000RPM, ø40:
under 3,000RPM, ø25: under 5,000RPM, ø15: under 6,000RPM,
ø6:under 10,000RPM) .
- Usage over the maximum recommended revolutions is dangerous because
it may result in tool breakage.
|
| [Grinding
Load, Cutting Depth] |
- Processing is most effective using the tips of theFfine Alumina
Fiber Rod. For the Cutting depth; use 0.5mm to 1.0mm as a guideline,
up to 1.5mm .
- Exceeding the ricommended cutting depht or grinding load may result
in not achieving the desired results, as well as shortened brush
life caused by pronounced wear and breakage of the Fine Alumina
Fiber rods.
|
| [Adjusting
the Fine Alumina Fiber Rods Projection from sleeve] |
- Longer projection from sleeve increases trackability and flexibility,
while shorter exposure from sleeve
decreases them.
- However,keep the projection from sleeve under 20mm forø100,
ø60, ø40 and ø25, under 15mm for ø15,
and under 10mm for ø6. Usage beyond the recommended projection
from sleeve may result in damage to the brush.
|
| [Bristle
Length] |
- With usage over time, the overall length of the Fine Alumina Fiber
rods (bristle length) may shorten , resulting in more grinding force
but less easy to fit. Please adjust the grind force and fit by dropping
rpm and cutting depth.
|
| [Dry/Wet processing] |
- The brush can be used for both dry and wet processing, but please
use a dust collecting device to collect dust generated dry processing.
|
|
Operator Safety Measures
[Protection] |
- Always wear protective glasses, gloves, and a masks when working.
- Also, wear long sleeves, and close all cuffs and hems of your
outerwear so that your skin is not exposed.
|
| [Beware of grinding powder] |
- Grinding powder and burrs may scatter within an area around the work as the brush revolves; please stay clear of this area.
- When using on high-precision processing equipment, the abrasive powder may adversely affect the sliding parts, so please be sure to collect any dust and keep clean the equipment.[Caution to your surrounding]
|
| [Caution
for area around work] |
- The area around your work is hazardous due to flying pieces of
fiber rods from the brush and grinding powder. Please enclose your
work area to prevent other people from entering, or have the surrounding
people wear protection as well.
